Spring Fling 2025: A Celebration of Our Local Educators (picture gallery below) On Tuesday, April 30, the CU Schools Foundation hosted its 5th annual annual Spring Fling— celebrating the incredible teachers of Champaign Unit 4 and Urbana District 116. Held at Riggs Beer Company on High Cross Road in Urbana, this Teacher Appreciation event brought together educators from across both districts for an evening of relaxation, recognition, and heartfelt thanks. This annual Teacher Appreciation event invites all Unit 4 and District 116 teachers to celebrate the end of the school year. Held in early May at Riggs Beer on High Cross Road in Urbana, teachers are invited to enjoy Riggs beverages and complimentary appetizers from Dish Passionate Cuisine. CUSF will recognize the Shining Star and Super Star recipients, and raffle prizes will be drawn from local businesses at this end-of-the-year Thank You Event!
