We’re not asking our incredible donors to give more this Giving Tuesday (though we’ll gladly welcome it if you feel inspired!).
Instead, we’re inviting you to share the gift of awareness with your friends and family. When someone new joins the CU Schools Foundation community, it signals hope, confidence in our teachers, and a shared belief in the future we’re building for our students.
Here are three simple ways you can support our mission this Giving Tuesday:
1) Copy + Paste This Quick Email Message
Subject: You Can Make a Big Difference for Our Teachers — For Just $1/Day
“I support CU Schools Foundation because even a small, steady gift creates real change. Just $1 a day ($31/month) helps fund innovative teacher grants, supports classroom essentials, and fuels programs that lift up every student in the 32 public schools in Champaign & Urbana. If you care about strong schools and supported teachers, I invite you to consider this is a simple way to make a big impact with me.”
2) Share a Post You Love
Hop onto Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/4CUSF) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cuschoolsfoundation/), share one of CUSF’s posts, and add a personal message like: “I support CU Schools Foundation because their work empowers teachers, elevates great ideas, and makes classrooms stronger for all students across our community – would you consider joining me?”
3) Make an Introduction (and grab a coffee!)
