CUSF Mission: We invest in educators and students by supporting creativity, innovation, and excellence in Champaign and Urban public schools.
The CU Schools Foundation is thrilled to announce the second Teacher Grant Cycle of the year is complete! Awarding over $26,000 to more than 60 teachers across USD 116 and Unit 4, we are thankful that so many more projects are being funded.
These grants support a diverse range of innovative projects designed to enhance student learning experiences. From hands-on STEM and coding activities to literacy enrichment and historical exploration, these projects bring subjects to life in dynamic ways. Teachers are fostering creativity through visual arts, sewing, and music programs, while also supporting students’ social-emotional growth with sensory-friendly spaces and attendance initiatives. Field trips, interactive learning tools, and opportunities for students to take ownership of their education further highlight the impact of these grants.
We are proud to support educators who are making a difference in the lives of their students every day! Be sure to click the links below to see the amazing projects and ideas that are positively impacting our students!
