🌟 Grant Spotlight: FLS Snack Cart at Edison Middle School! 🌟

Thanks to a CUSF grant, Mary Nada’s Functional Life Skills students at Edison MS are gaining hands-on experience running a snack cart for the teachers! 🛒✨

This project helps students with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop academic, social/emotional, and communication skills in a real-world, hands-on way!

In addition to actually selling snacks, students practice stocking, planning, organizing, money management, and many interpersonal communication skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

Mary shared, “My snack cart has been a success for my students’ SEL and interaction with the other teachers, staff, and students.” 💙

We love seeing grant funds making a real impact in our schools! 🎉 #CUSFGrants #ElevatingEducators #SupportingStudents #chambanaschools #chambana
