All of these funds have been established by private citizen groups, families or the CUSF Board of Directors to restrict your giving to a specific need. Giving to these funds is an active and ongoing effort. If you choose to make a donation to a specific endowment or fund, please make sure that you designate where you want to have your gift applied either in the memo line of your check, or, for online giving, in the appropriate blank.

How much money does CUSF need create an Endowment?

An contracted endowed fund is established based on a minimum of $1,000 as the lead gift. Disbursements will not begin until the accumulated growth and donations reach a minimum of $5,000. Goals of at least $25,000 are encouraged so that yearly awards are significant.

*Pass-through/targeted Gifts for our Schools

The CUSF encourages private investment into our schools and can direct funds that are compatible with our mission and the school districts' gift acceptance policies. The Foundation directs thousands of dollars each year to various programs, subject areas, schools and special needs within the district. If you have a specific gift in mind, be it funding for a field trip, classroom supplies, playground equipment, an after school program or booster support, contact the foundation office at 217-398-2873 for more information.
