Our SPLASH GRANT PROGRAM is our premier grant program which represents the finest in community involvement. 5 local business leaders came together to support this unique program infusing fast cash into Champaign and Urbana public school classrooms through teacher-grant applications. Across the profession, educators spend an average of $500 per year out-of-pocket on simple needs for their classrooms. Since July 2008, CUSF has funded 745 projects!
SPLASH GRANT awards range from $25 - $500.00 per grant and applications are available to complete through a simple on-line process during the enrollment period until all the money is allocated for that period. A teacher may only be awarded one SPLASH Grant per fiscal year. This is a receipt-based program.
Our support goal for the SPLASH GRANT PROGRAM is to exceed $200,000.00 per year for 3 years; we need your help. As our community and school districts clarify a larger vision of excellence for the Unit 4 and Unit 116 schools, SPLASH GRANTS will attract the attention we need to begin providing for change that will make a difference.
