Kids in Need Foundation
The purpose of the program is to provide funds for classroom teachers who have innovative, meritorious ideas,
such as using common teaching aids creatively, approaching the curriculum from an imaginative angle, or tying nontraditional concepts
together for the purpose of illustrating commonalities. The program is interested in funding the purchase of supplies or materials that students
need to do such things as create a product, conduct an experiment, grow or tend living things, or learn a new skill. The project should
engage the students in hands-on activities that lead to the acquisition of new knowledge, awareness, or self-discovery.
Eligible applicants are K-12 certified teachers working at a public, private, or parochial school in the subject of the
project. Application will be available online from July 15 through September 30; awards announced December 1
Award amounts are $100-$500—no matching required
